The sailing season has just ended, and we can't wait for the next one! Why? Because ten new boats are coming to our charter fleet, beautiful new sailboats and one catamaran. What really makes us happy is the opening of our new charter base in Pirovac. Namely, apart from our main base in Biograd na Moru, from next year our guests will be able to sail out from Marina Pirovac.

Pirovac is picturesque small town located 20 km south from Biograd nm. It's a small, known fishermen's village with a protected port where a couple of years ago beautiful modern marina was built. Despite being small, the marina is equipped with all the necessary facilities, and nearby you can find supermarket, pharmacy, bank, ATM, restaurants as well as many coffee shops. Meaning, all that you can find necessary you will find in marina or its vicinity.

Shorter check-in waiting time is definitely marina's great advantage. But, if it happens that you must wait until the afternoon hours, we recommend you to go on a trip to National Park Krka or to Vrana Lake, which are both nearby the marina.

If you are still wondering in which direction you should set your sails from the marina in Pirovac, do not worry, we did that part of a job for you. We bring you the list of top five places to include in your sailing route:

1. Vrgada

Second name „Golden Island" was given to Vrgada because of the golden colour of its sandy beaches that stretch across the island. It is an ideal place for all visitors who want to escape from the summer crowds on the coast and enjoy the quiet and clear sea. As there are no cars on Vrgada and you can only reach it by boat, the peaceful and calming atmosphere on this island is guaranteed. During the summer months, several shops and restaurants are opened, but it is still one of the most peaceful destinations on the Adriatic. The local population is small, with about 150 people living on the island in winter, mostly fishermen's families. Because of this, Vrgada is an excellent destination to visit on your sailing route.

2. Kornati

The natural labyrinth of stone "bare" islands is ideal for those who know and want to truly enjoy sailing. This beautiful Croatian national park consists of 89 islands and islets, hiding thousands of quiet and hidden bays, several top restaurants where you can eat local delicacies and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. There is no electricity and water on islands that are part of the national park, and they are mostly uninhabited. National park Kornati is also known as a paradise for boaters because of its ideal weather conditions, location and density of the island, but also its intact natural forms. We suggest you to take a few days off for the Kornati Islands, as we are sure that this archipelago will truly delight you.

3. Drvenik Veli

another fantastic place to visit from our base. This island is located northwest of the island of Šolta and could be your perfect place to rest and swim during the day. Blue Lagoon is a bay situated on the east side of the island, not far away from the islands Krknjaši Veli and Krknjaši Mali, suitable for anchoring and enjoying the turquoise blue sea all day long. Clear blue sea and greenery on this island are the perfect recipes for another joyful day on board. If the weather forecast for the night is not good and you cannot spend the night at the anchor, Marina Maslinica on the island of Solta is nearby, which is a safe harbor for overnight stay. You will also be able to go for a morning walk through Maslinica or to explore this beautiful Croatian island - Solta.

4. Vis

Island that will enchant you with its magnificent natural beauty. For many years it was an island that was closed to foreigners because of its location converted into a military base. Because of that is one of the best-preserved Croatian islands today. There are two places you can visit and are located on opposite sides of the island. Whatever you choose, we are sure you will not regret it. The whole island of Vis is an island that will enchant you with its beauty and simplicity, delicious specialties and crystal-clear sea. What really pays off to see on the island of Vis are the former underground military tunnels, fortresses and caves, the most famous of which is the Blue Cave on the island of Biševo.

5. Korčula

One of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic Sea, covered with pine trees and surrounded by crystal blue sea, will become a synonym for your vacation. Perfect sailing winds will allow you to smoothly sail to the many bays and coves where you will make unforgettable memories. The island of Korčula is ideal for all sailing lovers who are looking for a quiet vacation in the perfect environment of natural beauty and clean sea. The northern coast of the island is accessible and low, while the southern coast is steep in some places but also much more indented. Vela Luka is the best-protected bay in the western part of the island, and its shape is reminiscent of a fjord. On the east side of the island is the beautiful town of Korčula, which is often referred to as ''Little Dubrovnik'', a famous town rich in history and beautiful buildings is worth a visit.
