Your vessel will have all important documents onboard. This will include its register list for vessels, insurance policy. You should check these documents before you set off.
It is best not to store your personal documents and the vessel's documents in the same place.
The clothing you should bring depends on the time of year. If you're expecting bad weather, or sailing in the low season, then waterproof sailing clothes and shoes are essential. If, on the other hand, you are sailing from June to August, a waterproof rain coat, a windbreaker and summer clothes will usually be enough – t-shirts, trousers, shorts, bathing suit, a hat, and a pullover for cooler evenings.
Appropriate boat shoes are also essential – trainers that are bright and have non-slip rubber soles are ideal. You will probably need a second pair of shoes for when you go ashore.
Your luggage is important as well. Hard cases are not suitable for sailing boats, due to the amount of storage space they take up. Instead, you should bring soft bags that can be easily stacked.
All sailing boats in the Euronautic fleet have a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals. This includes a fridge, cooker, crockery, cutlery.
Our best advice is to plan your meals and purchase your food in advance.
For every sailing trip, it is important to bring sufficient amounts of food and water plus some extra in case of delays or spoilage.
Fresh food can spoil, so you will need to use it first and then switch to your supply of non-perishable items.
Consider the preferences and dietary needs of your guests and crew. Also ask about any food allergies, as this could necessitate avoidance of certain food groups.
Marina Kornati has a secured parking spot for vehicles and the reservations are not possible.

Skipper’s service is not included in the charter price and is to be paid separately.
The cost of hiring a skipper is 150€/per day + food.
You should take into account arrival and departure, extras that need to be paid at the reception (base costs and tourist tax, and ordered extras as outboard engine, Wi-Fi, safety net etc), deposit or insurance, parking for your car, as well as food and beverage. You may also need money for entrance fees for National Parks/Parks of nature, berth in marinas or buoys, fuel.
You are able to pay by all credit card and cash, Kuna’s and Euros.
It is possible to make changes in the crew list; however, any such changes should be communicated in advance so we can make all the necessary changes regarding the paperwork (crew list). During check-in, Euronautic will provide the guests a crew list that will contain all the necessary information about each crew member. The guests must possess this crew list with them on board at all times in case of an inspection by the port authorities. In case you change crew members during your cruise, guests are obliged to contact Euronautic and inform them about the changes. Euronautic will then send a new verified crew list via e-mail.
Stores on Saturday in peak season work all day (bigger stores work even until 22/23h).
On Sunday, most small shops and business premises are closed but larger stores are open (Lidl, Plodine, Konzum in Bure center).
Hull - check it from the pier and from the boat. All bumps and scratches, as well as broken or missing parts, should be noted in the takeover report.
Bilge pump - check that it works properly.
Cable winch - does it spin easily? How many levers are there and are they in good working order?
Metal fittings - the small wheels on all metal fittings should spin easily. Also check the stopper.
Mast - the mast must stand in an upright position. The cramps should not be too tight or too loose. Also, the crosses should be in an upright position.
Instruments - switch on and check the function of the boat's instruments. This includes indicators for engine speed, wind direction, depth, speed, and distance, as well as the GPS system and anything else on board.
Anchor with chain or rope - check the length of the chain and the strength of the cable winch. Also, check if the chain or rope is fixed to the vessel.
Canvas - unfold the canvas and check its condition. Don't forget the spinnaker/genaker (if there is one on the vessel).
Water hose - check its length and look for any signs of rotting. Also check the sealing gasket.
Sun blind - check if there are enough ropes for mounting.
Lifeboat - is the rubber damaged? Could this cause a leak? Is the equipment for the helms damaged? If there is an outboard engine, check if the fuel tank is full. Also check the spark plugs and the range of tools supplied onboard.
Life raft - where is it and how does it work?
Fuel tank cap – is it marked correctly? Find out which tank is water and which is fuel.
Accumulator - determine the location of the accumulators. Check how to charge them and check if the charger works. Make sure you know how to switch them on and check their potential. If they require water, check the level.
Fire extinguisher - make sure you know where they are and check the expiration date.
Fridge - plug it in and check if it works.
Control switch panel - check all switches and measuring instruments.
Kitchen – check that the full inventory of equipment is there (dishes, cutlery, pots, bowls, knives, sieve, etc.)
Lights - check lights throughout the boat, including navigation, manual lights, and cabin lights.
Engine - check that the engine starts easily. Make sure you hear the alarm whistle when switching the engine on and off. Also, the throttle lever should move smoothly. You could also ask how to change the belt in the engine, as well as the pump rotor for cooling (impeller). Other things you should find out include whether the engine can be started manually, where to check the oil level, and how to change the oil.
Small cupboards - make sure they close easily. You don't want them to open when the boat tilts.
Tools - are they adequate to carry out any repair work you might need to undertake?
Gas - check where the main valve is and check if there is a spare gas canister. Check that the canister is full and that there is a kit for changing it.
Bottom board - lift the board to check if there is any water.
Hydrographic chart and handbooks - make sure they cover the planned sailing area and are up to date.
Beds - before you set off, make sure there are enough blankets, pillows and bedding.
First Aid - check if the first aid kit is complete and adequate.
Life vests - are they suitable for your crew? Pay particular attention to children and overweight crewmembers.
Signal rocket - check the number.
Waste tank - make sure you know its capacity and how to empty it.
Valves on pipes - check the position and accessibility of the valves. In particular, look at the direction that each pipe is laid.
VHF station - switch the VHF station on to check that it works.
Toilet - check the function of the manual pump in the toilet.
Flags - are they too faded to use?

The cost of the mooring fee depends on the size of the yacht and it ranges from marina to marina. The average price in high season varies from 70-80 Euros per day for a yacht around 45 feet long. If you have already chosen your sailing route, you can easily find out the prices on the official websites of the marinas where you plan to berth.
Some marinas in Croatia allow booking or making a reservation in advance (but they will charge you a certain fee for reservation).
In some marinas through online booking on their site you can book and fully pay the berth.
You can also book berths at majority of croatian marinas online via „mySea“ as well as at buoys and (restaurant) jetties. You just need to get a free application and register under www.my-sea.com. Recommendation in peak season is to book one day before. You can use the Euronautic code when registering at Mysea and then marina will already have all the necessary documentation of your vessel. You get the code in the ship's papers when checking in.
You can always call marina and ask how many vacancies are there available and when is the best hours to arrive. Finding a berth off the season is usually not a problem but it is a different thing in the peak season (particularly in July and August) when finding a berth may be a challenge, especially if you don’t set sail for the marina in the early afternoon hours.
The average anchorage price is 10-20kn/m per boat/ per day.
Nights at sea create a sense of adventure and can be calmer than those spent in a busy harbour. Before anchoring, be aware of the weather and sea conditions in the area. You should also have knowledge and experience of anchoring. Most places where it is unsafe to anchor will be marked on local maps, including conservation areas and shipping lanes.
The harbour/marina is a secure place to take a break from sailing. At the harbour you can find cleaning, mending, waste disposal and tank filling services. If you decide for a bareboat charter, it might be wiser to berth in a marina, especially if you are not well acquainted with the sailing region you chose to explore. Berthing in marinas is also safer because they are protected from winds and harsh weather conditions. Anchorage is a manoeuvre where you drop anchor if you need to hide from bad weather conditions or enjoy the scenery. If you optioned for a skippered charter, the captain will surely know a number of secluded bays where you can anchor. For anchoring in bays you should make sure that your supplies of food, water and electricity are sufficient.

As a rule you cannot. The basic currency of payment in the Republic of Croatia is Kuna. The foreign currency can be exchanged in a large number of marinas, exchange offices, post offices, banks, tourist agencies.
Water tanks can be filled in every harbour and marina and the cost is usually included in the mooring fee. 4 people usually require about 600 litres of water for 7 days at sea for showering, cooking, washing and toilet use.
You can fill your fuel tank in numerous gas-stations along the coast and on islands. We provide a list of all gas-stations (list can be found in boat papers).
The pump station's working time in the peak season (June-September) is every day from 06:00h to 22:00h.
Friday's afternoon after 15:00h, usually is a big crowd so you better avoid it. You can always fill up the fuel tank somewhere on your way to Biograd when returning in the base.
For recreational and sport fishing in the Croatian sea, a license is required, regardless of whether it is done from the shore or from the boat. The license for sport fishing can be purchased at the Public University of Biograd for 1, 3 and 7 days and until 01.03.2018. both foreign and Croatian citizens can purchase an annual permit. Please note that fishing is forbidden in National Parks.
Telašćica Bay is located in the Nature Park Telašćica and is to be found in the southeastern part of the island of Dugi otok. It is a natural port in the Adriatic Sea, where there are 25 small beaches, the steep slopes of the island of Dugi otok, which rise to 161 meters above sea level and descend to depths up to 90 m and salt lake "Mir" with healing properties. The most spectacular among the islands is the island of Katina, and the nearest settlement is Sali. You need a entrance ticket for Telašćica and you pay one for the boat. The average ticket price in the main season in the vessel category 36-58 feet (11m-17,99m) for 1 day is 540,00 Kn/72,69 €. Tickets can be purchased for 1, 3 and 5 days. High-season sailing trips have the warmest weather conditions, but they are also the most expensive times to sail, and the crowds are at their largest. A great time to go is the low season, which includes April and May at the start of the year, and October and November towards the end. The low season is ideal for sailors who want an authentic experience that includes more wind and, as a result, fuller sails. The low prices and the fact that there are no crowds are also welcome bonuses.

No, we can either make a cancellation of you charter week and charge you for the cancellation fee according to the general charter conditions (50% of the contracted charter price), or we can give you a voucher that you can use in next season. . Voucher can be issued only one month before your charter dates – if there is an objective reason for it (as written above).
No, change of the boat can be applied only if the boat you have originally contracted is unavailable – but we can be flexible about the period – just keep in mind that the price difference needs to be covered, and discount policy you had on the original reservation cannot be applied.
We are very sorry, but we are unable to make a refund, according to the force majeure.
You have two options: first option is to make the payment and then, if the situation doesn't look right, you can cancel even a day before (for above mentioned reasons) you charter starts and still use the whole voucher amount.
But if the payment is not received according to the contracted conditions – we will have to cancel the booking and keep the whole amount without issuing the voucher.
You don't have to decide right now when do you want to make another booking. You can let us know about new dates during the next season. Of course, the longer you wait, there is a less possibility the boat you want will be available – and voucher is limited to period of one year.

If you change your booking to next season. second payment must be done according to the General charter condition active at the moment of rescheduling.
